most of the time i spent on my animation was created patterns for the lights to come on and off in my scenes, which will be about half of the piece. I rendered about half of the on/off light scene, about 600 images and it took a couple hours.
I’ve done animations before so not a lot is surprising me, the rendering is taking a little while but i heard a lot about blender so i’m not really surprised
i suppose the thing that is surprising me most i how easily the animation is going by using blender, even though i am a complete novice. I suppose this is a testament to the user friendly-ness of blender, although i am not using very complex shapes or meshes.
